Acha Bacha.co.in is a site for children and parents of children between the age group of 6- 12. Children of this age-group require constant parental vigilance, support and encouragement. They learn maximum in this period, and so they need to be checked right, fed right, need to be exposed to the right content, develop the right habits… in short they need the right environment to grow to their full potential.

AchaBacha.co.in gives just the right support to parents and children to grow together. On this site, parents and children are given independence; they have separate logins (even though the login information of the child is shared with the parent). Children are provided with the right content… from stories to songs/ rhymes, to their favourite videos, to book reviews, to interesting encyclopedia articles, flash games, make a greeting card and other such interesting and productive applications, and what not. For parents, there are discussion forums, social networking with other parents, parenting tips, baby book theme-templates, Tasty TIFFIN/ QUICK snack recipies, new and innovative stories and songs and lots more.

The other important point is, that there isn’t much content available for the 6-12 age group. So they have to either resort to playing games and reading content for younger or older kids. On our site, the content will be segregated age wise (for example, stories for a 6 year old will be different from stories for a 7- 8 year old)

IS THE SITE SAFE FOR YOUR CHILD?

IS SOCIAL NETWORKING FOR THIS AGE- GROUP A GOOD IDEA?

NO! we’d rather have children make friends in the playground, than here. More so, exposing children to online friends becomes a security hazard. SO, THERE ARE NO SOCIAL NETWORKING FEATURES FOR CHILDREN. Children can only interact with their parents. THE SOCIAL NETWORKING FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PARENTS.
